Installing raptor lights or side vent lighting on a 2021+ F150 with factory LED headlightsUpdated 4 days ago

If your 2021+ F150 model truck comes factory equipped with LED headlight assemblies than your raptor grill light or side vent lighting install will requires a slight modification to the install shown in the video for halogen equipped vehicles.

The only change is simply where you connect for ground and power. Instead of connecting to a side marker light plug, you will be connecting at your headlight assemblies harness plug to the wires as indicated below.

driver side - (PIN10) black/yellow = ground  (PIN3) grey/blue = power(DRL)

passenger side - (PIN10) black/grey = ground    (PIN3) Violet/white = power(DRL)

Alternatively, you can also gain power by using a mini fuse tap to fuse #36 at the fuse box located in the interior passenger side kick panel using a 2.5amp fuse. Fuse #36 has power when the vehicle is remote started and also when the vehicle is always on. Fuse #37 is also an alternative option.
