If your headlight accessory connector is the front marker style connector it will connect to the truck’s front marker light connection. If it is a headlight style connector it will connect to the truck’s headlight connection.
STEP 1
If you are connecting to the truck’s front marker connection, push down on the tab on the back of the front marker connector to release it from the truck.
STEP 2
Connect the Headlight Accessory Connector to the front marker socket then connect the other end of the connector to the truck’s front maker connection.
STEP 3
To connect your Raptor Style Grill kit, Side vent kit, or Spartan II Backlighting, take the power wire and ground wire from the kit and connect it to the power wire and ground wire from the Headlight Accessory Connector using the tool-less accessory ready snap connectors style wire connectors. Be sure that you connect the power wire from the kit to the power wire on the Headlight Accessory Connector and connect the ground wire from the kit to the ground wire on the Headlight Accessory Connector.
STEP 4
To make your connections using the tool-less accessory-ready snap connector, strip a small section of wire then lift up on the orange tab of the connector, insert the exposed wire into the connector then clamp the orange connector back into place. Be sure that the wire is making contact with the metal in the tool-less accessory-ready snap otherwise the connection has not been made.
STEP 5
If you are connecting to the truck’s headlight connection the process is the exact same you will just be using the truck’s headlight connector and headlight wiring harness instead of the front marker.
For some configurations, such as the 2023+ F250 with Halogen lights or the 2024+ Ranger, you may need to switch the power and ground wires, as seen in the photo below.
If you are connecting the backlighting from the Spartan II kit, you will just need to connect the blue wire from the kit to the power wire of the Headlight Accessory kit using the tool-less accessory-ready snap connector.
