17-2023 Super Duty Spartan II Reverse Kit

Step 1: Slide the included lock nuts that came with the kit into each channel on the back of the Spartan II bar.

Step 2: Line up the channel on the bracket with the hole on the side of the bar, then slide the included bolt into the hole and channel of the bracket and tighten it with the included allen wrench. *We recommend tightening this bolt hand tight for now then tightening all the way once the desired light angle is achieved.*

*Make sure the bracket is inserted at the top of the light bar, the flag should be facing upward as seen in the photo above."

Step 3: Once steps 1-2 are done to both of the light bars, look under the bumper and remove the T40 screw. *We will be using the hole that is closest to the center of the truck.*

*This bolt will not be reused for this install.*

Step 4: Slide the included hex head bolt through the channel at the top of the bracket.

Step 5To mount the bars to the truck, slide the hex head bolt into the hole that had the T40 bolt in it then use the included lock washer and nut to tighten the bar to the truck. *Repeat on the other side of the truck.*

Step 6: We recommend unplugging the 7-pin trailer harness by pressing down on the tab in the photo below and pulling away from the truck. *You may need to cut back the sheathing that is covering these wires, be very careful not to cut any of the wires when cutting this back.*

Step 7: Using the included splice connectors, connect the red wire from the reverse harness to the grey wire with the brown tracer, the black wire from the reverse harness to the white wire of the trailer harness, and if you would like to utilize the amber backlighting, connect the white wire from the reverse harness to the brown wire of the trailer harness. *Make sure that there is no power going to the trailer harness when splicing into these wires.

*If the wire colors in these instructions do not match the wires on your trailer connector please refer to the front of the trailer connector to see what wires need to be spliced into.*

Step 8: Reinstall the trailer harness into the truck, then connect the leads from the reverse wiring harness to the leads coming from the back of the light bars. Next, take the included zip ties and zip tie any excess wiring under the bumper.
